What does this website do?
The General Committee has set up a Governance Working Group, to help the Committee with strengthening and modernising the Club’s governance.

Consulting you, the Members, will be a very important part of this process, for two main reasons:
1) it is the right thing to do – the Club belongs to the Members
2) our current constitution requires Member approval (at an Annual General Meeting or a Special General Meeting) for any significant changes, so it is important to involve our Members and get your views from the very beginning.
This will be a long process, probably taking several months. We know you are busy people, so we plan to take this in manageable steps, respecting your time.
So we’ve created a website for this project, so that you can always find everything you need without having to search back through endless emails.
The website is only the start - there will be lots of opportunities to engage in different ways, eg one-to-one chats, focus groups, and information sessions.

Sharing your feedback
Throughout this process, there will be two sorts of feedback you can give: general and specific.
For each main discussion area, you'll be able to give a general opinion on the entirety of what's there.
And as we get into more detail, you’ll be able to give feedback and ask questions about every part of each proposal.
